By proceeding with a booking or enquiry, you ("the Client") agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a professional, safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

1. Definitions

​

• Agency / Tempt Events: Refers to Tempt Events, the service provider.

• Client: The individual or entity making, and responsible for, the booking.

• Entertainer(s): Refers to any performer or staff member supplied by the Agency, including waitresses, dancers, performers, DJs, hosts, golf caddie companions and promotional staff.

• Event: The specific date, time and location for which services are booked.

• Deposit: The initial non-refundable payment required to secure a booking.

 

2. Booking & Payment

All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed upon receipt of the non-refundable Deposit. Full payment for services is due when the Entertainer arrives at the Event.

 

3. Rules of Engagement

​

To ensure a respectful, professional environment for our Entertainers and a positive experience for the Client and guests, the following rules are strictly enforced:

• Respectful treatment: All Entertainers must be treated with the utmost respect and courtesy at all times.

• Scope of service: Entertainers are booked to perform the specific service agreed in the booking confirmation. Entertainers reserve the right to decline any request that falls outside their agreed booking or makes them feel uncomfortable.

• Photography & recording: Unauthorised photography, video or any digital recording of Entertainers is strictly prohibited under any circumstance. An Entertainer may, at her or his sole discretion, agree to a photo if politely requested. If a guest attempts to record without consent, the Entertainer may end the booking immediately, with no refund, and the Agency reserves the right to take further action.

• No touching or grabbing: Physical contact with Entertainers, including touching or grabbing, is strictly prohibited. If an Entertainer feels unsafe or is touched without consent, they may end the booking immediately, with no refund.

• Responsible conduct: Entertainers will not consume alcohol or illicit substances while working. We ask that Clients and guests also behave responsibly around alcohol. Any illegal activity will result in the immediate end of the booking and may be reported to authorities.

 

4. Cancellation & Change Policy

All cancellations and changes must be communicated directly to Tempt Events.

• Client cancellation: The Deposit is non-refundable and will be retained by the Agency.

• Time, date or location changes: Accepted at least 5 days before the original Event date, though availability of your chosen Entertainer can't be guaranteed for the new details, and an alternative may be offered. Changes made within 5 days of the Event may incur an additional booking fee. Travel fees may apply for a significant location change.

• Entertainer cancellation: If your Entertainer can't make the Event, an alternative will be offered. If no alternative suits, the portion of the Deposit for that booking will be refunded.

• Client communication failure or incorrect details: It's the Client's responsibility to provide accurate contact details and address, and to have someone reachable at the start time. If the Entertainer arrives and can't reach the Client, they'll wait 15 minutes before leaving, with the Deposit forfeited.

 

5. Entertainer Punctuality & Compensation

Entertainers will call the Client on arrival, and typically arrive a few minutes early to get ready. The booked time commences from the agreed start time, even if the Entertainer waits due to a Client-related delay. If an Entertainer runs late, paid time commences on arrival, so you only pay for time actively provided. If a booking can't be completed in full due to the Entertainer's lateness or another issue on our side, the pro-rata amount for the missed time will be refunded, contact us promptly to arrange this.

You pay upfront for the time you book. If you'd like your Entertainer to stay longer on the night, you're welcome to ask her or him directly, if they're free afterward, they can usually accommodate an extension.

 

6. General Provisions

​

• Entire agreement: These Terms & Conditions are the entire agreement between the Client and Tempt Events regarding the services booked.

• Severability: If any part of these terms is found invalid, the remaining terms stay in effect.

• Amendments: Tempt Events may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version current at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
